ABOUT THE POSITION:

In the role of Junior Technical Support Engineer, you will have a central position in the company. You will be the one who contacts customers, supports installations and troubleshooting, and captures ideas for product improvements and further development. You will also work closely with the development team and help drive improvement projects.

A typical workday involves handling a varied mix of support cases via phone and email. The cases range from mapping bridges to the vehicle's bus system, to upgrades of devices and troubleshooting login issues or permissions. You will often work with complex troubleshooting where you use your problem-solving skills and communication with the customer to pinpoint issues and find the right solution. If necessary, you collaborate with developers and other colleagues.

The role also offers the opportunity to work on internal improvements, such as streamlining support systems through automation and Jira management. With increased experience, you may receive more advanced technical inquiries, such as extracting historical data after incidents or assisting customers with customized solutions.

An example is the work with a Battery Monitoring System (BMS), where historical data has been used to build models that predict electric vehicle range under different temperature conditions. The project was carried out in close collaboration with both developers and project managers, allowing you to influence the product's development.

For this role, we are currently looking for two profiles: one who wants to focus more on programming and one who wants to work more on customer-facing tasks. Therefore, there are great opportunities to shape the role according to your interests – for example, you may work more with programming, data analysis, customer relations, or product development, depending on what motivates you the most.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the company's face to the outside and support customers with technical questions
• Perform troubleshooting and analysis of incoming cases
• Drive and follow up on product improvements and technical ideas
• Collaborate with developers and contribute to data-driven development
• Work with technical documentation and support materials
• Prepare bridges for delivery, which includes flashing the correct software and ensuring functionality.
• Handle RMA cases and attempt to restore devices in case of faults, e.g., through reflashing.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has or is graduating as a bachelor's engineer in, for example, system development, computer engineering, or similar.
• Has a great interest in technology and IT, preferably in programming, systems, or data analysis
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
